My choice is the GARMIN E-trex Legend.
This device is easy to use with one hand and offers a stick on the front that you can use like a mouse on a computer.
The screens are easy to understand and you can even download topographical or street maps right into the unit.
With my GPS, I can mark points of interest around my property and come home and view them on my computer. I have even started marking potential hunting sites I notice throughout the year.
While a GPS can help you find your way out of the woods, Don't forget to carry a backup compass in case the batteries fail or something else happens to the unit.
